Summary:

Welcome to the Charity Retail Association (CRA) safeguarding online course. This has been developed as part of their Charity Retail Safeguarding Scheme (CRSS) which was designed, in conjunction with Barnardo’s, to provide a structured framework within which charity retailers can develop their own safeguarding systems. The CRA are very grateful to Barnardo’s for the use of their system, and to the British Heart Foundation who have kindly provided much of the content of this course at no charge for the benefit of the entire charity retail sector.

Safeguarding has become a major issue for charity retailers in recent times so it is essential to have fit-for-purpose safeguarding training. This course will provide you with the tools to help  your staff, volunteers and customers in charity shops are able to benefit from increased levels of awareness and understanding, and so be kept free from harm.
